What’s an Acne treatment Plan?

Step 1. Consultation Step 2. Treatment Step 3. Home Regimen

  • Client consultation is the foundation for transparency and efficacy on the journey to clear skin.

We will meet for about 30min to discuss your skin goals, frustrations, lifestyles, habits, and previous product usage.

I will analyze your skin and recommend a set of 4-6 products to correct existing issues that may affect treatment.

You will leave with an informative packet and further information on acne and your unique needs.

*Consultation and product purchase are mandatory for new acne clients.

During your skin consult I will determine the condition of your skin and if what treatment to opt for. If your skin barrier is compromised I will have you use your new regimen for two weeks. After two weeks of using the recommended products, we can begin treatment!

An initial photo of the client’s skin will be taken in order to document progress. (remember, it is not always easy to see your own accomplishments and give yourself the credit you deserve)

  • Acne Clients must receive 6 treatments in a 3 month period (every 2 weeks for 3 months) and follow a home regimen to achieve optimal results!

*Book Acne Bootcamp to save money on appointments

Treatments are customized for individual client needs.

Along with diligent home care and lifestyle practices, the clearing process will require targeted corrective treatments:

    1) A deep pore cleanse with ultrasonic scrubber to mechanically exfoliate the top layer of skin and loosen debris within the pores.

    2) Chemical exfoliation will further remove dead skin and allow active ingredients to penetrate deep into the follicle. Not only is this ideal for acne, but pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, and dull, sluggish skin.

    3) Professional extractions that won't damage the underlying structures or surrounding tissue.

    4) High-Frequency currents stimulate blood flow that oxygenates the skin and speeds the healing process. It also has a germicidal effect.

    5) Light therapy will boost collagen and cellular function.

*Treatment Facials are to address skin conditions, formulate an at-home skin regimen and obtain product knowledge.

*There is little to no focus on massage, hot towels, steam as these can be irritating to inflammatory acne & rosacea.

Substituted with HI-Frequency, Ultrasonic scrubber, Cold compress, LED light therapy

**If you are looking for a relaxing spa facial NOT a treatment facial, please book a Glow facial.

  • Post Treatment:

*You will not need to do your at-home regimen the first night after treatment.

*You will have some blotchiness from extractions for 4-6 hours. You will need to keep your hands off your face and avoid applying makeup.

*Avoid extended direct sun exposure and excessive sweating for the day.

*Apply a clean pillowcase before going to sleep.

*Wipe phone screen & case with Alcohol to sanitize

    *No waxing or tanning

Your Acne specialist may contact you to follow up about your skin.

    Results:

Remember we call this a practice because all skin is different and we need to practice to find what is perfect for you! This may require changing and substituting products.

It can take 3 months for Acne to show up on the surface of skin, it is important to remember that through your treatment and skin journey it is normal for blemishes to surface. Dedicated clients usually achieve clear or significantly clearer, healthier skin in the first three months!

Remember, Clear skin is a lifestyle. Just like a fitness goal, you will need to work to maintain it continuously. There is no quick fix or shortcut. Having the guidance of a licensed professional will save you stress, frustration, and money in the long run.
